The 31st annual Hospitality Lecture is scheduled for Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Our presenter is Sr. Sara Butler, M.S.B.T., professor emerita of dogmatic theology at the University of St. Mary of the Lake, Mundelein. Her presentation for the day is entitled, “The Year of Mercy: A Message about God's Love”. Sr. Sara served two terms on the International Theological Commission, is a consultant to the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization and the U.S. Bishops’ Doctrine Committee, and an author of over 50 scholarly articles and the book, The Catholic Priesthood and Women: A Guide to the Teaching of the Church. She is currently the director of the New Evangelization at the Mother Boniface Spirituality Center in Philadelphia.

FAITH FORMATION COORDINATOR TRAINING
The plans for the annual faith formation coordinator training are very near completion. It is scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 19 after dinner and will conclude on Thursday, June 23 after lunch. This focus of the week will be on Sacred Scripture. Our presenters this year include Fr. Tim Ferguson, Deacon Aaron Nowicki, and Deacon Tom Foye. The week’s events will include daily Mass; Morning and Evening Prayer, and opportunities to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation along with some fun and fellowship. Teacher/principal contracts will be held until registration numbers of current families are finalized. If re-enrollment is below 90% on April 15th, contracts will be held.
