When potentially difficult media inquiries are received, you are encouraged to contact John Fee, diocesan director of communications, for help or have the media contact Fee directly. If you refer media to the communications office, please contact the office immediately so we can prepare any necessary materials ASAP to meet media deadlines.
Please keep in mind that reporters are often working on tight deadlines. It is better to let them know immediately that you are working to find an answer or to find someone who can help them than to wait until you have everything ready. If you like, you can contact the communications office and have us respond for you.

IDENTIFYING ALUMNI WITH FREE JOTFORM ON YOUR SCHOOL WEBSITE
Another important tool is a database for collecting, organizing and tracking ongoing Development efforts. One great place to start is by identifying alumni who are often our best supporters. Does your school website contain an easy to click ‘alumnae info form?’ Consider using a tool from JotForm.com (https://www.jotform.com/form-templates/category/alumni) to collect this info to help build a database of strong support! 100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY FATIMA CELEBRATION
We call Our Lady's message at Fatima, "Heaven's Peace Plan." In the outline of this plan, the Blessed Mother asked for four things: (1) prayer, especially the daily Rosary, (2) sacrifices for sinners, (3) the daily faithful fulfillment of our duties in life according to our vocation and specific situations, and (4) the patient bearing of the trials and sufferings that come our way each day! Our Lady has told us that Jesus wants these things and in fact He needs them for the conversion of sinners. As she reminded the children, "Many souls are lost from God because there is no one to pray and sacrifice for them." When a great number of sinners have been converted, then peace will come!
Please plan on attending our diocesan-wide Fatima Centennial Celebration on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Full day of activities are planned for the whole family. John Preiss, President of Fatima Family Apostolate will be telling us more about the Fatima message. The day begins at 9:00 am and concluding with the 4:00 p.m. Mass. Bishop John Doerfler will be celebrating with us at St. Peter Cathedral. To help us plan for food and to provide everyone with free Fatima information, please register at www.DioceseofMarquette.org/fatima or call 1-800-562-9745 Ext 139. Many blessings upon you and your family!
