Sacred Heart Catholic School, L'Anse
Our 5th-8th grade students spent their morning wading in the Huron River at Big Eric's Bridge in Skanee. MTU's Mr. Doughty led a study in aquatic macro-invertebrates where the students were able to use kick-nets to ethically capture and release various specimen, taking count to assess the health of the stream. Based on their results, our students found the stream to be of "good" health.
