Diocesan Workshop: Americas Church
September 21, 2019
10:00:am - 12:00:pm
Anyone with an interest in the sacred liturgy and evangelization, including priests, deacons, catechists, teachers, musicians and parishioners, is invited to attend a Diocesan workshop event at St. Peter Cathedral on September 21, 2019! The Diocese of Marquette will host Benjamin LaPrairie, who will give a lecture presentation on liturgy as a means of evangelization. A native of Michigan, LaPrairie now serves as the Associate Director of Music at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., the national and patronal church of the United States. His talk will discuss how “inspired liturgy leads to a transformation, deepening and awakening one’s faith” and how to be “agents of such transformation.” There will be much to take away from this talk for all ministries.
