Called back to Mass

From Bishop John Doerfler's Letter to Parishioners calling the faithful back to attending Mass in person, "...the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days will be rescinded effective the weekend of Pentecost, May 22-23, 2021." With this in mind, the final regular livestream of Sunday Mass from St. Peter Cathedral was Sunday, May 16. WNOA will continue its radio broadcast on air and online at For those unable to attend Mass in person for serious reasons, visit the Masses tab in the response pages for more options.

Support your parish
Although some remain unable to particiapte in Mass at their parish, it still has to pay for ongoing bills. Just like our home budget, the bills for parish utilities, insurance, and other operations continue. Please prayerfully consider financially supporting your parish by mailing a check, or signing up through your parish's online giving. Click here to find parish addresses and websites. Thank you.

God does not abandon us

"God does not abandon us. Now is the time even more to gather and pray together with your family at home. Make your house a little hermitage. Set aside a prayer-corner where the family can gather for prayer and where individual family members can take turns praying in private and quiet.

"At this time, your pastors and I will keep all of you in prayer and continue to reach out to your remotely. I will be livestreaming a private Mass from my chapel at 1:30 p.m. (Eastern) on Sundays. I invite you all to pray daily the Prayer to Our Lady, Health of the Sick." - Bishop John Doerfler
