Retreat and Pilgrimage Opportunities

Join Fr. Corey Litzner and Dcn. Steve and Jackie Gretzinger on a unique 3-day “Rolling” Retreat/Pilgrimage in honor of the Holy Family, from April 29 - May 1, 2025. 

The pilgrimage will begin with 8:00 am CST Mass at Holy Spirit Church in Menominee. Trip highlights include the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman in La Crosse, St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells, the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, Holy Hill, the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Stanislaus Church, Milwaukee, concluding at Our Lady of Champion and the National Shrine of St. Joseph in Green Bay.

Join Fr. Corey Litzner and Dcn. Steve and Jackie Gretzinger on a pilgrimage to Poland honoring the life and legacy of St. John Paul II, from Oct. 14-23, 2025.

The pilgrimage itinerary will bring travelers to many places important to the life of St. Pope John Paul II, including Krakow, where Fr. Karol Wojtyla began his life as a priest and offered his first Mass. In Zakopane, travelers will explore the Tatra Mountains, where St. John Paul II spent time as a hiker, skier, and priest with youth trips. The pilgrimage will take attendees to Częstochowa’s Jasna Góra Monastery and the Chapel of the miraculous icon of the Black Madonna, as well as the former concentration camp of Auschwitz, the site of martyrdom for St. Maximilian Kolbe.

Travelers will have the chance to attend Mass celebrated at the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary in Wadowice, where Karol Wojtyla was baptized, and visit the Divine Mercy Shrine, dedicated by St. John Paul II during his last visit to Poland.

Join the Bishop Baraga Association for its 2025 Jubilee "Pilgrims of Hope"—Bishop Baraga Edition Passport Challenge.

The challenge has 20 tasks to complete, aiming to inspire you throughout the 2025 Jubilee Year to spread hope the way Bishop Baraga would—through his daily actions and decisions, prayer and devotions, faith and pilgrimages. The passport is free to the public and family-friendly.

Complete 17 of the 20 tasks and challenges in the Baraga Passport Challenge and return it to the Bishop Baraga Association with the return form to receive a small gift for completing the passport.
